Change the World a Little Every Day – Digital Teacher’s Resource Pack

A lively, bouncy melodic song about little things making a big difference. Great for Harvest Festival or celebrating caring for our planet!

Change the World a Little Every Day – Teachers’ Digital Songpack

This is a really popular song in primary schools up and down the country. It is melodic and bouncy and is about caring for our planet and each other, and sharing. The lyrics touch on people not having enough to eat all over the world, animals not having a home if the rainforest is chopped down. The anthemic refrain is the title, and there is a section at the end with optional two part (which I comfortably sing with year 1 & 2 upwards) that builds to a lovely emotional end!

This is a great song to use at Harvest Festival as an alternative to “Let’s Harvest” if you want to look at a more global theme. This song celebrates every individual child’s contribution to the world making a little change to the entire world. A great concept!

I have also performed this song with a school choir with three part harmonies as well as two different vocal parts. It can be arranged with solos, small group parts and more and is versatile. The signs make it a great visual performance piece as well as making it suitable for children who use Makaton and BSL. Change the World – sing this song!
