“Quirky and curious ‘Three Excellent Little Pigs’ really was most excellent; the characters personalities were well created and maintained throughout. Well written and well-rehearsed, the performers sang the shows accompanying songs beautifully and provided one of our personal stand out shows from the many seen during the Brighton Fringe Festival 2015.”

Our most recent show is a fresh and fun reworking of the classic piggy tale. It features a cast of three (real people!) Al Start, Nicola Bloom and Fran Malone (Herringbone Arts).
First performed at The Patch Winterfest, Brighton in December 2014, then to 4 sold-out shows at The Brunswick, Hove in January 2015. Al’s tiny handmade puppets proved a big hit!
In May 2015, Al redesigned the show for a larger audience. This included remaking the puppets, set and adjusting the performance style to suit a large venue (The Old Market, Brighton).
The results were fantastic! The entire day of four shows was sold out (over 600 tickets on one day – best selling children’s show in the Fringe 2015!) and the audience loved the new production. Feedback included comments such as “The best children’s show we have seen in The Fringe”. It was the Old Market’s best selling show of the entire Brighton Festival – onwards and upwards!! Read a review here.
The original songs and accompanying Musical Story CD is also proving to be a huge hit, with reports coming in of children playing it on loop for hours at a time, choosing it over the Frozen soundtrack (!!!), and siblings acting out the entire show lip-synching to the songs and dialogue!
The show has been performed at Elderflower Fields Festival, Glynde.
Al, Fran and Nicola are now touring schools, venues and festivals with the show – you can book a performance by contacting us HERE.
Tickets are now on sale for our Half Term show at The All Saints Centre, Lewes East Sussex on February 18th 2016.
